Family sessions are relaxed, playful, and built around connection. I’ll give you enough direction so you never have to wonder what to do, then make room for everyone to settle in, have fun, and be themselves.

There isn't one right way to photograph a family.
You don't need kids who sit still. You don't need everyone smiling at the camera at the same time. And you definitely don't need to spend the entire session telling anyone to “SMILE.”
I’ll guide you when you need it, but I’m also paying attention to everything happening in between. Capturing the moments, big and small, that you love each other

Outdoor sessions give kids room to move, explore, play, and forget they're having their picture taken.
Let's stay at home
Make pancakes. Build a blanket fort. Pile onto the couch. Play in the backyard. Read the book you've already read 400 times.

Family collection
I've worked with Heidi on a few occasions (for baby and family photos), and she is an absolutely wonderful and extremely talented photographer. Heidi is very professional and always prepared, but she also has a uniquely amazing ability to work with people. She is really friendly and warm, in a way that makes you feel more at ease with her, and therefore more comfortable and genuine in your photos. Heidi is great at working with kids in a photoshoot, getting them to laugh and smile for just the right photo. She is so skilled at working with different background sceneries, colors, and angles to get beautiful photos and capture such important moments - her photos truly speak for themselves.
